Room for Development

The rising need for temporary accommodation has caused a spike in development across Perth and Structerre is proud to be supporting this new growth.

The WA State Government has estimated that an extra 1,900 hotel rooms are needed by 2020 to stabilise the local market. The rising need for temporary accommodation has caused a spike in development across Perth and Structerre is proud to be supporting this new growth.

Our team has recently won a contract to provide geotechnical, structural and electrical engineering solutions for a $35 million hotel that The Intercontinental Group are funding as part of the Holiday Inn Express chain.

The 20-storey development will be built incorporating an existing 2-storey 1800s-built house at 275 Adelaide Terrace, Perth.

With BGC due to commence construction in mid 2013, completion of this project is estimated for 2015.
