Located in the south west of Sydney, this stylish retirement village owned by the South West Italian Australian Association (SWIAA) boasts a Tuscany theme with beautiful gardens and community halls, an admin building as well as a church. With a total of 152 units for independent living, the Marconi villas and self-care cottages are attractive, comfortable and affordable, well equipped with facilities and provide a range of services residents can utilise.
Our team worked on stage 1, 2 and 3 of the project, commissioned to provide all structural work for the two-storey development. The location of the retirement village was found to be on highly reactive and very saline soils, which our team needed to factor into their footings design.
Our team took on an innovative approach through waffle pod ground floor slabs design and an easy deck suspended floor slab.
Our overall time efficiency and high standard of service was appreciated by our client with our cost effective designs a strong point of difference for our client.Download Profile
