The Victorian Guide to Standards & Tolerances Passed in Tribunal Case

Our Perth laboratory has achieved worldwide accreditation from the National Association of Testing Authorities Australia. Our standards and proficiencies have met those of the international standard ISO/IEC 17025, formally recognising our continuous high quality of service and technical competence provided to our clients.

NATA is one of the largest laboratory accreditation bodies in the world and is responsible for the accreditation of laboratories, inspection bodies, calibration services, producers of certified reference materials and proficiency testing scheme providers throughout Australia. Obtaining this accreditation gives customers and regulators the knowledge that material specifications are being met and our laboratory operations and equipment are safe and dependable.

An assessment team visited our laboratory to inspect our documents, methods and equipment and thoroughly evaluated all elements of our operations. This included technical competence, training and supervision of staff, quality control and proficiency testing, suitability and maintenance of equipment as well as the physical environment in which activities are performed. Surveillance visits will be performed every 18 months to ensure continued compliance with requirements and maintain our standing with NATA.

Now that accreditation has been awarded, our laboratory is internationally recognised for continued technical competence giving clients further assurance that our testing is carried out to the highest standards.
